Official Opening of Varna Summer International Music Festival 2022
Symphony Orchestra of Varna State Opera will be conducted by Mykola Diadiura – Artistic Director of Ukrainian National Philharmonic Orchestra. In the Varna Orchestra, which had 75th Jubilee in 2021, some guest musicians from Kiev National Philharmonic will take part.
The soloists are the legend of Korean violin school Dong Suk Kang, pianist Florian Krumpoek- highly acclaimed interpreter of Beethoven and Bulgarian cellist
Lilia Bayrova-Schulz, professor at Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien. The inauguration of the festival is with Vardar Rhapsody by Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov as a tradition. Two other masterpieces will be performed -Triple Concerto for violin, cello, piano and orchestra, C Dur, op. 56 by Ludwig van Beethoven and Symphony N9 “From the New World” by Antonin Dvorak. Piece by Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov will have its premiere in Varna.
